Common Questions
What is Bravo Conscious Health?
Bravo Conscious Health is a complementary and integrative health practice founded by Harvard and Yale alumni. We offer biofield therapy (Reiki), precision frequency therapy, breathwork, and meditation, individually and in small groups. Our sessions are research-informed, practitioner-led, and tied to RAPHI Health's structured outcomes research. Many clients come to us when conventional care has addressed the physical but left something else unresolved. Others come for prevention, clarity, or simply to support their nervous system.
What is integrative therapy?
Complementary and integrative health refers to practices used alongside conventional medical care to support overall wellbeing. They do not replace traditional medicine. They address the emotional, energetic, and nervous system dimensions of health that conventional care often does not have time or tools for. At BCH, we use evidence-informed biofield and vibrational therapies, including Reiki, precision frequency therapy, and breathwork, to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and a return to calm and balance.
What is reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive biofield therapy that supports relaxation, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation. Using light touch or near-body presence, a practitioner works with the body's energy field to support its own regulatory processes. Reiki is one of the most studied complementary health modalities, with over 88 peer-reviewed clinical studies showing consistent benefits for stress, anxiety, sleep, and emotional clarity. It is offered in over one-third of U.S. hospitals and recognized as a complementary therapy by the National Institutes of Health.
What is precision frequency therapy?
Precision frequency therapy uses tuning forks and chakra frequency tubes calibrated to specific vibrational frequencies. These instruments interact with the body's energy field through sound and vibration. The NCCIH classifies this type of work as veritable energy medicine, meaning the frequencies used are physically measurable. At BCH, frequency therapy is used alongside Reiki to support coherence in the energy field and help the body enter regulated, restorative states more readily.
Can this replace medical treatment?
NO. Biofield and vibrational therapies are complementary to, not a substitute for, medical or psychological care. We work in partnership with your existing providers whenever possible and are happy to coordinate with integrative care teams.
Is there research behind these therapies?
Yes. The National Institutes of Health formally recognizes and classifies both biofield therapies and frequency-based energy medicine through its National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH). Reiki alone has over 88 peer-reviewed clinical studies documenting consistent benefits for stress, anxiety, sleep, and nervous system regulation, and a 2025 scoping review identified 353 studies on biofield therapies overall. Frequency-based work is classified by the NCCIH as veritable energy medicine, meaning the frequencies are physically measurable. BCH is the practice arm of RAPHI Care, the research, data, and clinical integration platform that connects real-world biofield therapy outcomes to clinicians and researchers. Client session data is collected in a structured, HIPAA-compliant way, contributing to the first outcomes evidence base of its kind.
